This is Maddie and she is almost 4 years old. She was thrown away at the shelter and no one knows why cause she was just there at the drop box when they opened their facility. We got her out and she has been doing great in her foster home. Right now we have her at a good weight of 140lbs but she still needs to put on a little weight, they must have been feeding her crap food cause he coat when we got her was yucky but now its becoming very beautiful and she looks healthy again. Maddie loves her baths and ears cleaned; she will ask for it even after you are done, it’s very silly and we think she likes the attention. She is good with people and wants to meet them even at the vet. She is ok around dogs as long as they dont want to terrorize her otherwise she barks at them to go away but we prefer her in a home with no other dogs and someone that will be alpha with her so she doesn't have to make decisions about dogs. No food or toy aggression with people but will not like a dog trying to take her toy; again we prefer a single dog family. Apparently Maddie has never been in a car so we are showing her that car rides are fun and each day things are getting better, this will just take some time cause for all we know the only time she got in a car is when she was dropped off and left alone at the pound; just need to work that out of her long term memory of going for a car ride is a fun thing not a bad thing. Maddie does have a high prey drive so no cats or rodents in the home is also necessary.
