You do tremendous work. I glad there is somebody out there like you with a big heart to take in these dogs. I am on my third Mastiff and I just love the breed. I frequently visit your sight looking at new possible playmates for Xena. Keep up the good work.

We adopted Jazmine about 2 1/2 years ago with the help of Cerice. She has been a wonderful part of our family and is truely loved. She was very lazy when we got her, but has imroved tremendously and loves her daily walks. We moved recently and that has made her a little more protective than normal. She loves to sleep on the landing to watch over everyone while we sleep. I would let her in our bedroom, but she snooooorze too loud. :-) You know how those mastiffs our. Anyway, we are looking forward to meeting Utah tomorrow and possibly expanding our family. We sure do love our Jazmine and cant wait for her to have a friend.

We have owned mastiffs since 1978. After our Sara died we decided to look for a resuce dog. Rachel helped us adopt a rescued mastiff puppy about 18 months ago. Willow was 5-6months old, and had been in several homes. They let us adopt her because of our experience with mastiffs and she needed a very special home with people who could deal with her "emotional" and behavior problems. She was terrified of everyone and everything, especially men. I had a lot of help from Rachel and several other wonderful people from the Mastiff world. Well, Willow has come along way since then. She loves her "dad" now and of course Mom is her favorite thing on the planet. We are still working on the fear of strange people and strange places (like the vet) but she is well loved, and deserves every bit of it. She has a sister and a brother now (canine) and a several family members of the feline species. Also, she has accepted her extended family, my 12 yr old nephew, my Mom and my sister. Willow is an example of people who indulge themselves in breeding dogs that they know little or nothing about, and selling these puppies to people who know little or nothing about the breed. Mastiff puppies need losts of socialization within a family and in the outside world. A "shy" puppy needs even more; and should never be punished because of it's shyness. Tender, loving care and hours of attention brought Willow thru most of her fear. She still has "issues", and we work through them with her whenever she regresses because of some unknown trigger that sets her back. But her recovery has been amazing. I look in her eyes and know that she loves me with all of her giant doggie heart! Thank you Rachel for the work that you do, you are amazing!

I love large breeds! I want to adopt another one. We have a Neapolitan Mastiff/Weimaraner mix, but could use a little more snoring around here!

I wish that I could adopt all your dogs but I have two Bullmastiff one year olds. If I could I would love to adopt your older dogs.

My youngest son hopes to rescue a mastiff in the future. We will consult your site at that time.
